unique cooking class dedicated to the use of specialty olive oils, balsamic
and other interesting vinegars. And, learn how to healthfully use wonderful
sea salts from around the world to enhance Appetizers, a January Cleansing
Soup, Local Green Salad with Citrus Oil Dressing, Herb Sauced Grilled
chicken, as well as a special dessert. Wine pairings included. DIM SUM – THE LUNCHES OF

is a repeat of the August 20 class that sold out so quickly. Featuring potstickers, shrimp and vegetable
rolls with dim sum sauces, stir fry vegetables. rice and other fabulous
specialties which have made Asian cooking famous all over the world. Learn a
bit of history of these special foods while finding out how easy it is to
prepare nutritious foods like this in our own homes for family and friends.

really fresh fish and seafood, local as much as possible. Learn how to shop
for the best fish of the day and then how to cook it to perfection, which
means DO NOT OVERCOOK IT! With the selections of the day, this class will
feature crab, shrimp, a seafood chowder, sautéed and grilled fish as well as
salad, appetizers, vegetables and dessert along with 3-4 wonderful wine

how to make sauces to complement any steak or chops. This class features pork
chops but it could be Iamb chops, beef steak, tofu burgers, or chicken
breast. We will be featuring several sauces from a creamy mushroom sauce to
some delicious finishing sauces using the juices left behind in the sauté
pan. Class also includes an appetizer, cruciferous vegetables, salad and
dessert along with several wine pairings to complement each course. KNIFE SKILLS AND MAINTENANCE CLASS (SOLD OUT) Saturday January 30 1:00

semi-hands on class will teach basic techniques of using a good, sharp knife
each time you cook, especially choosing the correct knife for the task at
hand. Also, learn how and why proper maintenance of your kitchen knives is so

famous Valentine's class, featuring some interesting foods that through the
ages have been known to be aphrodisiacs, named for Aphrodite, the Greek
goddess of love. The class will feature appetizers, salad, local fresh
vegetables, butterflied filet of beef with flaming sauce, and of course a
decadent chocolate cheesecake with chocolate dipped cherries. Wine pairings

SOUP AND BISCUITS (SOLD OUT) Wednesday February 17 - or - Thursday

is a wonderful soup made with beef broth, chicken and curry and served with
cheese biscuits. It is a knock-out winter meal, and so easy to prepare. The
class also features an appetizer, fresh vegetable salad with homemade
dressing and a crispy fruit dessert. Wine pairing for each course included. HOMEMADE YEAST
BREADS (SOLD OUT) Wednesday February 24 - or - Thursday

how and why it is necessary to make yeast bread! This class features a basic
white bread as well as a whole grain bread loaf and both can be made in a
bread machine, if desired. Learn about flours, yeast, kneading techniques,
and shaping of the breads. To
thoroughly enjoy your home made breads, this class also features a grilled
chicken salad sandwich filling and a wonderful tuna sandwich filling. Wine

how to use a pizza stone in your home oven for delicious home baked goodness
which goes even beyond pizza. Several great pizza topping ideas will be
presented, as well as learning how to use the stone for biscuit baking, etc.
Class includes appetizer, salad, and dessert along with wine pairings. IRISH STEW WITH MURPHY! Wednesday March 10 - or - Thursday

a wee bit of Irish luck and good cooking with this fabulous class featuring a
vegetable stew flavored with Murphy's Irish whiskey, Dorothy's special corned
beef and cabbage, baked eggs with smoked salmon, Dover sole, and homemade
Irish Cream. All of this paired with great local Central Coast of California
