Clementine’s Kitchen Helps Add ‘Gourmet’
Flavor to the 2003 Monterey County Fair
As part of it’s ongoing commitment to the local community, Clementine’s Kitchen, Tools and Techniques for the Home ChefSM, is proud to be the primary sponsor of the newly designed Gourmet Food and Wine Pavilion at this year’s Monterey County Fair (Monterey County Fairgrounds, August 12th through 17th). This year’s slogan, ‘There’s No Place Like Home’ reflects the warm and friendly spirit of the Monterey Peninsula and nothing says more about our beautiful and abundant surroundings than this year’s theme, ‘The Land of Ahhhs’.
Special events during the week include the "Chef Showdown" competition and the dramatic "Mystery Basket" contest where chefs get creative with some surprise ingredients. Each day during the fair, visitors will be spell bound by the hourly presentations by local chefs including (alphabetically):
