Get over to Clementine's Kitchen, in the new Stone Creek Shopping Village (near Tarpy's, where Canyon Del Rey meets Hwy 68). This is a top notch, beautifully outfitted store selling the best in international cookware, dishware, cooking utensils-basically, anything you need to prepare and serve fine food. In addition, there will be cooking demos and classes in the adjacent display kitchen, due to begin very soon. The two men behind the project are David Babcock and Drew Chernoy who, during their many trips throughout Europe and elsewhere, always found themselves foraging through the fabulous kitchenware shops. It finally dawned on them that they should open one themselves, back in their own hometown. I'm glad they did, and you will be too. Check it out big time.
